"Our teachers have been raving about Impero because it is exactly what they needed. It gives the teacher the ability to see what students are doing, correct them if they are not on task, and communicate what they are expected to do—all without raising your voice or calling attention to individual students. It is a teacher’s dream come true. The ability to take control of all computers is wonderful when giving students instructions and having them actually listen rather than playing on their computers. Classroom management took a giant step forward with Impero. I highly recommend it."

"I am very impressed by Impero. It’s powerful, easy to deploy, and affordable. I love the control that it gives teachers over the workstations in their lab and the monitoring and reporting features are out of this world. I highly recommend Impero to anyone looking for a classroom management solution."

"I have found this software to be invaluable. Cloverport Independent is a very small school district at around 300 students in K-12. As Chief Information Officer, I can not imagine trying to perform my job without Impero. As long as Impero is installed on the student workstations, I know without a doubt, the students are not on inappropriate websites or typing things that are prohibited. I look forward working with Impero in a partnership to protect our students for many years to come."

"The presentation I received on the Impero software was excellent. I learned a great deal and plan to follow all suggestions. This program is outstanding in detecting students who are looking at things they should not be. It is a quick remedy that does not interfere with my own classroom instruction.
Impero software is an excellent addition to out school system! This informational presentation provided a super forum for me to ask questions and voice opinions.
Thank you again for such an informative and pleasant morning."

"As the District Technology Director for our school system, this software is invaluable to me and my technical staff. The program is very user friendly from both an administrative perspective as well as a teacher/lab end user. It has provided an easy solution for our district to both monitor computers usage and perform administrative tasks such as software installation. The ability to record what a user is doing without their knowledge has been extremely beneficial documentation for users who denied they were violating their Acceptable Use Policy. We have been using the software for about a year now and have only begun to unleash the power of Impero. I would highly recommend Impero to anyone who is concerned about the safety of their users and needs an application for monitoring and directing user’s computer behavior."

"As an upper level English and History teacher, I have found the Impero software to be invaluable in regards to monitoring and conferencing. My average class size is 30 students and I cannot view each and every student computer especially when I am conferencing with a student; therefore, the ability to view all computer screens from one computer works brilliantly and serves as a ‘forced’ motivation for all students to stay on track. Additionally, as a writing instructor, I use the computer to communicate with the students while they are working on their respective writings. I can read as they write and ‘take-control’ of their screen when necessary to place a comment providing grammatical, mechanical, or prose direction. Not only is this time effective for me but I have received comments from students that they are now able to understand exactly where my comment is intended as the remark is placed directly at the point of error rather than in the margin. An example of the effectiveness occurred today. My seniors were working on their research papers and I had announced that even if they were done they needed to proofread and revise rather than wasting their time playing games. During the course of the class, I monitored three students playing games and took control of their computer. The resulting action was my point was made without interrupting the whole class.
In a nutshell, I absolutely love the Impero software due to its time saving, discipline, and communication abilities. It is one software application that lives up to the hype."

"The Impero program has been very helpful for our Highly Structured Classroom. It allows the director of that program to monitor each student's computer to make sure they are on sites they are allowed to be on and not on sites that are banned. It also has allowed the director to "record" actions by students to prove what they had and had not been doing. This year, we had some threats made via the computer. This program was able to record the specific key strokes of the student, making it easy to prove in court! That, and many other educational values are included with the Impero program."

"Impero has been a great help to us. The teacher’s can now control their labs, and keep the kids on task. It’s a very powerful tool for us. We’ve needed something like this for a long time."

"Impero software has changed my job by making it easier and giving me the ability to multitask at my workspace. Kids can be experts at visiting inappropriate sites even when you’re walking around the room in order to check for that very thing. Often times, I must be at my desk to catalogue or help students look up information. In the past, this was an invitation for trouble and wasted work time for the students working on the computers. Now, I can accomplish my computer work, while still helping the teachers facilitate the ethical practice of Internet research by their students. Impero makes it possible to discretely monitor students’ activities and guide them back on track in a private way, which is important. Impero saves me time by allowing me to work from my desk and monitor students at the same time and it lessens students’ tendency to visit inappropriate sites. Because of Impero, productivity increases for everyone, including the librarian, the teacher, and the students."

"Impero is such a great tool. I can easily view and remote into computers across the whole network. Monitoring students is a hundred times easier than other products we have used. Logs are so detailed and easy to pull up. Impero makes so many things easier. Shutting down all the computers in the district is one of my many favorites. Definitely worth checking out!"

"Our school district has been using Impero for approximately three months and has been extremely satisfied with the results. Installing the software was an easy process as well as setting up the user groups. Impero is a very useful tool for Internet filtering. It is very precise in flagging written violations, logging those violations, and providing screen shots for reference. Teachers use the software to broadcast lessons to students and to monitor student activity. If a student is not on task, a teacher can quickly notice this. Our technology personnel can troubleshoot problems by taking control of a teacher or student computer and sometimes fix the problem without having to leave the office which saves considerable time. Teachers, staff, and tech personnel are very pleased with the ease of use and the capability of the software. As technology coordinator, I understand that technology is a valuable resource if used appropriately. Our mission is to educate all students by providing a safe, disciplined and motivational environment in which all students learn to their full potential and I feel that Impero helps us to do just that."

"Impero is a powerful classroom management tool that lets you control and log student activity on you computers. It's small, easy to deploy and does not require expensive new hardware to run on the server or client side. Impero is one of those rare products that delivers everything it promises. If you are looking for a classroom management program, this one has it all."
Keith Crouch
Network Administrator
Bath County Schools, Kentucky, USA.
"We have been using Impero for a few months now, and the functionality is superb. The lab manager can keep better watch on what is going on in the lab, and is alerted when students stray onto sites that may be harmful. Instead of writing a URL on the board and relying on everyone to type it incorrectly, the lab manager can open the web page on all of the lab PCs with just a few clicks. When the lab manager is absent, it is very easy to go back into the log and see what went on while they were gone, and report problems to the principal. Also the ability to share the desktops and remote in to another PC is very beneficial. The staff at Accro are very helpful and quickly answer any questions we have, and offer lots of assistance and training. This is a great tool for anyone managing multiple PCs!"

Edmonson County Schools, Kentucky, USA.
"I am very impressed with the Impero classroom management software I feel that it is one of our greatest tools here in our program. As a principal I am at ease with the amount of control that our teachers have over the content that the students can access. The product is simple for the teachers to understand and the support that I have encountered with the company is outstanding. I believe that the implementation and use of this product has drastically enhanced the value of our students education, gone are the days of students wasting time playing useless games, and accessing sites that have no educational value. With Impero teachers have total control of their classroom, and their instruction is superior plus student’s achievement has improved. In a program that services at risk students that can be easily distracted this software is indispensable."
R. Todd Neace
Graduation Success Academy, Bath County Schools, Kentucky, USA.

"The thing I like best about Impero is the ability to take control of lab computers. I use this feature during faculty meetings when I train teachers. I also use it with students when I demonstrate things in the lab. I use Impero to “send files” and websites to students and teachers. I also like the ability to “monitor” our computer labs from my office. The ability to block the internet and lock computers temporarily is a plus as well. I would recommend Impero to any school looking for lab controlling software."
